A FEW THINGS YOU MIGHT WONDER.

Before your first note.

Do I need any experience?

None at all. We can start with how to hold the instrument, make your first sound, and read your first notes. If you already play, we’ll work from your current level.

Do you teach instruments other than clarinet?

Yes. Clarinet is my specialty, and I also teach saxophone and flute. Let me know which instrument you play when we talk.

Can you help with exams and auditions?

Yes. Lessons can focus on repertoire, technique, musical interpretation, and performance preparation. My students have achieved merit and distinction in ABRSM exams.

What should I prepare for our first conversation?

Bring your questions and an idea of what you’d like to learn. We can discuss your experience, instrument, goals, lesson format, and fees before arranging lessons.
